Maple Muffins

Cooper's Corner
2 cups flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar 1/4 cup butter, softened
1 egg
3/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup milk

Stir together dry ingredients. Add the butter and blend well. Then add the egg, maple syrup, and milk. Stir until well blended. Fill greased muffin pans about ½ full. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 – 25 minutes.

Makes a dozen muffins.
